You can interact with a percussion ensemble from Ghana West Africa. You can change the volume of each percussion part to better hear and understand the role each individual instrument plays in the ensemble.
AVIarts Ltd. designed and developed the Abadja Rhythm,, for the Denver Museum of Nature & Science Outreach program. Students learn about African percussion music by adjusting a virtual African percussion ensemble’s instrument mix to further appreciate the rhythmic relationship between the various parts of the Abadja rhythm.
Originally developed as a Flash Application, AVIarts Ltd. has relaunched the Abadja Rhythm project as a responsive mobile friendly Javascript application using the Web Audio API and the jQuery Javascript library.
