About Hayden Porter
For more than 15 years I have developed a wide range of web sites for cities, corporations, small businesses, organizations, professionals, and academic entities. I am an experienced developer of PHP/MySQL applications with specialized experience with WordPress. Please contact me for examples or more information about my web development services.
Merging my interests in music and web development, I began exploring the use of audio for the web and mobile since 1998 and have written extensively on the topic including articles for Electronic Musician Magazine, Music Education Technology Magazine, DevX.com, WebReview.com and Sonify.org.
As a composer of concert music, my work often explores the end results of mixing contemporary and popular music idioms with experimental concepts in harmony, rhythm, form or sound. My work has been performed at the Akron Art Museum, Ashland University, the University of Akron, the University of Maryland at Baltimore, and the University of South Carolina. I hold a masters degree in music composition from the University of Akron and a bachelor degree in music composition from the University of South Carolina.
